ABOUT COURTNEY
Courtney was born in Orlando, FL where she has currently remained to develop her business in training and selling competition horses. She began riding when she was around 4 years old, and discovered her love for horses. She began riding and competing with a Hunter/Jumper barn, and at age 13 made the move to Eventing after hearing about USPC, a national organization that promotes both riding and horsemanship. She has always dreamed of representing her country in the Olympics, and becoming a reputable trainer in the Eventing industry.
At age 13 she decided to pursue riding and training horses as a career, and since then has worked for reputable trainers such as Lisa Giltner, Maren Foster, and Hilda Donahue. Courtney currently trains with Denise Rath. After graduating high school, she decided to train, sell and compete horses full time. Growing up she always rode green horses, or the trouble horses, and she trained many ponies and horses in her younger age, and has recently trained a few horses off the track. Retraining Thoroughbreds from the track has recently been Courtney’s favorite thing to spend her time on. Her favorite part is seeing the improvement, progression, and giving them a second chance at a career. Courtney is very determined, and a very hard worker.
